The Realisation
One evening about four
years after moving in my daughter was making her normal trip to her Nana’s
house, I turned messing to her and said she
was not to have a bath in Nana’s, what
is it with Nana’s, is her bath better then ours? My daughter turned and said Mum I do not like
having a bath here as I feel like there is someone watching me. I laughed it off but I went stone cold. I resigned myself to speaking with my husband
that evening.
That evening when the
children had gone to bed I spoke with my husband. I told him about the figure in the hall, I
reminded him of my son’s ghost brothers, my daughters feeling in the bath,
things going missing and the coldness on the landing. I thought he would laugh and I was prepared
for an endless slagging, but this did not happen, he said he was the same in
the bathroom. We agreed that something
was strange with the house.
I mentioned the
conversation to my Mum and Dad, Dad said I was an idiot and Mum was supportive
in my belief.
We continued living in the
house, with the coldness, smell, things going missing and the feeling of not
been alone. But my suspicions were one
day to be confirmed and this has led us to currently investigate the spirit as
best we can.
