The Decision to Blog or Wiki
As part of my Introduction
to Computers module we were assigned a choice of project, either a blog or a knowledge base. I had initially chosen the wiki based
knowledge base as I felt that I would have nothing interesting to write in a
blog that would encapsulate my targeted audience. A change of heart came suddenly and unexpectedly
on Friday the 15th May 2012 at 8:00pm the day prior to our ultimate
and binding decision.

3.03 were having recurrent problems with the batteries in the microphone and
tonight was no exception. We took a
break at 7:40pm but when we arrived back the clock had not moved. The batteries in the clock had stopped working,
our lecturer commented on this and commenced talking about the eminent
projects. The mic cut out several
times. The batteries failing may seem
like a coincidence to the reader but to me it was like a lighting bolt or more
exactly an electric bulb moment. I
though about the battery incident for the rest of the evening and I awoke the
next morning fully decided to pursue the blog.
The blog would be about my house - A Haunted House. I had been wondering who the spirit was visiting our house for over three years. I hoped contributors' to my blog would help me in uncovering the mystery.
Over the next couple of days I will post the history of the house from when we moved in and then the voyage of discovery can begin. I
can’t wait to start but I am going to need a lot of advice from all viewing this post. Thanks in advance
